The Business Development Director plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the organization by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and overseeing the development and execution of business development strategies.
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Collaborate with the client services team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Foster relationships with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and other key influencers.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the business development department.
- Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor expenses and track return on investment for business development initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and key performance indicators.
- Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Base Salary Range:
- $88,060/yr - $130,499/yr This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
