Strategic Data Analyst - Graduate Business Career Development.

Graduate Business Career Development is seeking a new teammate that is passionate about leveraging data and analytics to help graduate business students succeed.
The Strategic Data Analyst will work with Career Development leadership to understand business and information needs, to promote and maintain a high level of service and satisfaction, and actively seek out continuous improvement opportunities in the delivery of business intelligence services. They will also maintain the data elements of our recruiting platform, website, and other sources for marketplace information. This includes analysis of student outcomes, employer events, and the MBA marketplace.
As a member of the Employer Relations team, this person will develop and implement web-based interactive reporting applications using dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.) to communicate quantitative and visually displayed information. This position does require on-site presence at our main campus in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive data management strategy to enhance the effectiveness of the Career Development team.
- Provide analysis and insights for employer relations reporting: annual employment report, benchmarking, employer segmentation, student outcomes, employer segmentation, incoming cohort analysis, and ad hoc reports.
- Perform job market analysis and convert data into completing visualizations that will support student education.
- Manage data from a variety of sources and determine additional data collection and reporting requirements (collection, scrubbing, theming, visualization
- Leverage data analysis software to drive analysis that leads to insights (software includes: Tableau, Qualtrics, Excel, Salesforce, and google sheets)
- Supports information requests from inception to delivery, translating requirements into appropriate reporting that tells a story with data including scorecards, dashboards, and reports.
- Builds strong consultative relationships by partner for producing high-quality, actionable information that meets the needs of decision-makers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience with a background in data analysis or business intelligence, including statistics, analytics, research, and metrics
- Visualization expertise in tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, including familiarity with statistics and analytical reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to produce, and present, clear and concise reports
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with building data infrastructure (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring) and implementing reporting solutions.
