Our facility in Laredo, Texas is currently seeking a Business Analyst-WMS to join our Information Technology team. As a WMS Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing warehouse management solutions. Your expertise in WMS systems, specifically Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) and the Blue Yonder Luminate platform, will contribute to the successful implementation and continuous improvement of warehouse operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT departments to understand requirements, develop strategies, and drive adoption.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their warehouse management needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Analyze, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for WMS systems, including process flows, data requirements, and system functionalities.
• Work closely with IT teams to configure, customize, and integrate the Blue Yonder WMS system and Luminate platform, aligning them with business processes and objectives.
• Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance WMS operations.
• Lead the implementation and upgrade projects of Blue Yonder WMS and Luminate platform, collaborating with third-party vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams.
• Define and execute system testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
• Develop and deliver training programs and materials to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of the WMS system.
• Monitor and support the production environment, addressing system issues, data discrepancies, and user inquiries related to the Blue Yonder WMS system.
• Analyze and interpret data from the WMS system to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse optimization.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in warehouse management systems, specifically Blue Yonder and Luminate platform.
• Participate in strategic planning and roadmap discussions, providing insights and recommendations on WMS-related initiatives and technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement data integration strategies, ensuring seamless data exchange between the WMS system and other business applications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, scalability, and usability of the Blue Yonder WMS system and Luminate platform.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of WMS solutions and identify opportunities for further optimization.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the Blue Yonder WMS system and Luminate platform, providing guidance and support to junior analysts and end-users.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement strategies for system enhancements, upgrades, and expansions.
• Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure effective communication and alignment of WMS initiatives with business goals.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and support future enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) as a WMS Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on Blue Yonder WMS and Luminate platform.
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing, configuring, and supporting Blue Yonder WMS and Luminate platform.
• Familiarity with warehouse management processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in business process analysis and mapping, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Experience in leading WMS implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and training.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain operations, warehouse management principles, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Experience in system integration, including data mapping, EDI, and API integrations with other business applications.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL queries, with the ability to extract and manipulate data from WMS systems.
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder Luminate Control Tower and other supply chain visibility tools is a plus.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on identifying innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
• Ability to travel as required for project implementations and stakeholder meetings.
