Your role on our Team The Business Data Analyst will work within Finance, ensuring financial data and reports run as efficiently as possible while delivering accurate data needed to make business decisions. They will also work cross-functionally to understand and deliver on the data and reporting needs of internal finance stakeholders as well as the broader company. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: Leveraging both new and existing technologies to create reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations. Investigate, identify the root cause, and implement fixes when issues are found with current reports. Consult with end users to understand requirements, formulate use cases, and translate needs into effective technical solutions. Manage access to reporting and data. Assist in managing and maintaining project list. Assist in partnering with IT in developing new data warehouse capabilities and train the finance department on leveraging those new capabilities. Assist in implementing the data strategy and best practices identified by finance leadership and the broader company. Make recommendations for continuously improving current reporting and the use of financial data. The TOOLS you’ll bring with you: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Operations 1 years of experience in Business Analysis or Data & Analytics Experience with SQL and relational data Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Power BI Self-motivated Able to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams. Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening).
