JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Systems Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing backend database environments while spearheading the development of essential data analytics and reporting solutions. Collaborating closely with business analysts, they are instrumental in building and sustaining the Business Development process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in database analytics and management, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent studies/relevant work experience. Current certification in MCSA or MCSE Certificates is.
• Proficiency in database management utilizing the Microsoft SQL Server Suite, encompassing reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, SAP Business Suite, and Crystal Reports.
• Fundamental understanding of implementing Machine Learning/AI and proficiency in Python/R programming for scripting or analytics.
• Familiarity with GIT, adept at setting up APIs, and maintaining integrations across diverse systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud services, particularly Azure Synapse and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in both on-premises server (SQL Server) and virtual/cloud server (SQL Server) environments.
• Exposure to Salesforce administration or development, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional client service.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, along with effective communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work with a sense of urgency and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
• Upholds a high standard of quality and confidentiality in all tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL jobs in SSIS.
• Establish and maintain a development database derived from production databases.
• Implement and manage database replications/backups from multiple sources.
• Develop SQL queries for data loading or generating reports.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst to accurately document and process Executive Team requests, ensuring seamless system automation through ad-hoc reports, dashboards, data mining, KPI tracking, etc.
• Liaise with vendors to address backend issues and fulfill company requests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of business systems operations.
