Business Continuity Manager leads the implementation and supports the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Business Continuity Manager leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Business Continuity Manager supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Continuity Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Continuity Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We’re looking for an entry-level industry practitioner with a college degree and interest in business continuity, crisis management, crisis communications, workplace violence prevention/threat management, intelligence, and/or corporate security to join the Bryghtpath Team as a Business Continuity & Crisis Management Analyst.
Experience in these areas is helpful but is not required.

Bryghtpath is based in Shoreview, Minnesota. We strongly support a distributed work model using collaborative technologies to keep the team and our clients moving forward. Most of our team works remotely, but working in the office in Minnesota or at a coworking site near your place of residence are also options. Some regular domestic travel can be expected in this role to support our clients on-site where necessary.
