Business Continuity Manager leads the implementation and supports the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Business Continuity Manager leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Business Continuity Manager supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Continuity Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Role: 2nd Shift Warehouse Assistant Manager
Location: Georgetown, KY (Onsite)
Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent
The hours required for this position are 3pm – 11pm, Monday – Friday.
Qualifications include:
· Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
· 2 to 5 years’ experience working in a warehouse.
· The ideal candidate will have experience in the following: leadership, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, adaptability, positive attitude, strong sense of urgency with the ability to multitask, the ability to direct others, customer service experience, good verbal and written communication, computer proficiency, good work ethic, honest, dependable.
· Knowledge of material flow in a manufacturing environment. Understanding of Business Operations. Accuracy. Knowledge of Production Control and Logistics, Ability to Meet Deadlines. Steel, Forging, Automotive experience a plus, but not required.
