Business Continuity Manager leads the implementation and supports the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Business Continuity Manager leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Business Continuity Manager supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. IT Business Continuity Administrator is responsible for managing the IT business continuity and IT disaster recovery plans and processes for Purdue University in under the direction of the IT Business Continuity Director. In collaboration with leadership, this position assists in defining how IT operations should function under abnormal circumstances during a disaster or emergency. This position will assist with coordination and implementation of the IT disaster recovery plan to get applications and systems back to normal when a disaster or emergency occurs. Works with Director and other IT leadership to assist in identifying risk, recommendations, and implement procedures to limit operational downtime and abnormal or inefficient system function. Work with Director to manage sub-contractors, FEMA compliance, scheduling, and equipment logistics. You will be working to manage plans, audits, ISO 22301, FEMA compliance, and scheduling.
This is a hybrid position where you will work most days on the beautiful West Lafayette campus and 1-2 days remotely.
This position does have a target salary of $52,200 - $61,700 commensurate with education and experience.
