Business Banking Manager jobs in Utah
Business Banking Manager manages a business banking team building and maintaining relationships with clients by providing service and support. Ensures clients have an effective team to help them best understand and use company products. Being a Business Banking Manager builds relationships between themselves, team members, and clients and builds an understanding of clients' business, strategy, and risks. Helps team members provide advice to clients in particularly complex, challenging, or important situations. Additionally, Business Banking Manager ensures the team recommends and sells products such as loans, deposits, and fee-based services to appropriate clients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Banking Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Banking Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description:
This position is responsible for processing commercial loan applications. Processors assist relationship managers with ordering third party reports, preparing loan packets for submission to the underwriting department, and addressing conditions precedent to closing. Processors communicate with relationship managers, underwriters, closers, and third parties. Processors report to the Business Banking Manager.
- Facilitate processing of loan requests, with a focus on providing an exceptional customer experience and prompt completion of processing tasks.
- Anticipate potential issues and proactively identify items needed in order streamline loan processing.
- Organize and prepare commercial loan packets for submission to the underwriting department.
- Order and review third party reports, including credit reports, LexisNexis, etc.
- Order title reports, appraisals, and environmental reports, as applicable.
- Complete OFAC verification, business entity searches, UCC searches, and web-based searches.
- Review business entity documents and title reports and identify potential issues to be resolved.
- Assist relationship managers with addressing conditions precedent to closing.
- Process declined and withdrawn loan applications.
- Coordinate new loan participations to and from other lenders.
