Job Description: The Commercial Banking Associate Program provides targeted training in the areas of relationship management, financial analysis, risk management and industry analysis. As an Associate, Commercial Banking, you will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse mid-sized businesses striving to achieve their personal and financial goals. Your business skills will be put to the test as you will be required to provide solutions based on credit, deposit and cash management needs that differ from client to client. Job description: The Associate Program provides robust and comprehensive training before the associate is assigned to an Account Manager or Analyst position within the district. Training includes in-branch learning under the supervision of a mentor, online training, and classroom sessions. Once you have successfully completed the program, your manager will work with you to identify a challenging and rewarding position in one of the Commercial Banking Centers in your district. What will training look like? Eight to ten months of hands-on training in a Commercial Banking Center Three classroom training sessions taking place at different times throughout the program Self-service learning plan (online training, webinars, tools and resources) Online training commercial loan line (Moody's program) What will you learn? Credit approval for different sectors of activity and different credit facilities How to offer all the expertise of the Bank to the client and adopt an approach aimed at meeting all their needs (e.g., cash management, loans, and foreign exchange) Arrangement of competitive packages without harming credit quality · Minimum requirements: Business degree (honors bachelor's degree in business administration, B. Comm. or MBA) Other undergraduate degrees combined with CFA designation, or commercial banking experience ·Demonstrated experience in sales or relationship management ·Strong analytical & organizational skills (skill assessed during the interview process) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
