We are now hiring for a full time FedEx BC (Operations Manager) in the Detroit, MI area! This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of package delivery services in a singular FedEx Ground terminal.
The right candidate will be adaptable with a strong work ethic, confidence, ownership mentality, and excellent communication skills. Being hands-on and driving routinely is a must. This Operations Manager will lead a team of drivers through up to 14 routes daily within the Oak Park terminal.
Candidates must have the ability to perform routine administrative tasks to comply with the needs of the business regarding fleet maintenance, route planning, compliance, finance, payroll, and other reporting. Previous FedEx/UPS/Amazon experience (with at least one peak season) is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
**This is not a Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM position. It will require some long-hour days and occasional Saturday work, but it will also be flexible with your schedule when circumstances allow it.
