Business Application Delivery Manager manages a team of business application delivery programmers. Improves operational processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems. Being a Business Application Delivery Manager leads multiple projects and oversees programmers to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed correctly. Trains programmers on standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Additionally, Business Application Delivery Manager establishes deadlines, develops goals, and tracks performance metrics for the department. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Application Delivery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Application Delivery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking an experienced Application Business Services Manager to join our team in Commerce City, Colorado. As the Information Technology Enterprise Applications Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the design, development, implementation, and support of information systems and application services.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, setup, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of various enterprise and department application services within the City. You will also coordinate, plan, and manage the activities of the application and business services division staff.
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in information technology and enterprise applications management. You should also possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for this position is $137,427 - $161,858/annual.We care about our employees and offer a generous benefits package: Health & wellness benefits, 6% retirement contribution match and 2% 457 Deferred Compensation match, PTO, work/life balance, and more.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or closely related field and at least six years of related progressively responsible experience required. Experience leading and supervising technical teams is required. Extensive experience in technical analysis, application administration, database management, project management, enterprise applications, technical documentation and quality management is required. Experience in a similar role in local government and public safety is desired. Business analyst, project management or related technical certifications desired. Experience and training in ITIL with ITIL Foundations Certification preferred. CJIS certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
