MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Must possess a valid commercial driver's license and a valid Mississippi School Bus Driver's certificate. Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.

Prospective employees must possess a valid, Class 'B' commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements and State of MS Bus Driver's Certification. Must pass a regular school bus drivers training course every other year, which is taught by the MS Department of Education. Must be at least 21 years of age and not in high school. Must attend and pass a Basic First Aid course each year if required. Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, DOT physical and criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
