Building and Grounds Supervisor supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Oversees landscaping activities, the maintenance of sidewalks and parking areas, and the removal of trash and snow. Being a Building and Grounds Supervisor maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. May be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, Building and Grounds Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Physician Mutual is hiring full-time Groundskeeper. This position performs a variety of seasonal groundskeeping and building maintenance tasks under general supervision of the Building Service Manager. The position will provide a safe and attractive outdoor environment for employees and visitors by performing seasonal grounds keeping and building maintenance tasks to include the following:
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 3:00PM
May require a call rotation occasionally in busy seasons and may require some overtime.
