This position is responsible for daily maintenance and grounds operations, which includes workflow and operational integrity of the facility and its equipment. This position supervises the maintenance and grounds staff for all non hospital Foundation Health facilities and properties, ensuring all tasks are completed timely and accurately, lending expertise when needed. This position is responsible for overseeing building maintenance preventative and corrective work to the facility, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing. Oversees the monitoring of building equipment maintenance procedures, and ensures safety guidelines and procedures are followed.

Must possess a valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.Requires a proficiency level typically achieved in 6 years of progressive experience in facilities services, preferably in health care. Requires diversified work experience as a maintenance technician, and the ability to demonstrate advanced skills in the field of maintenance and grounds operations.Ability to read and interpret blue prints, specifications and related contract regulatory documents. Must possess a thorough working knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, materials and standards. Must have strong mathematical abilities to analyze, evaluate and compute costs, budgets and schedules. Requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications.Requires the ability to work safely and effectively with infrastructure and utility equipment. Must be able to work independently and effectively align resources to achieve system goals.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and other related software programs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrongly prefer an Associate's Degree in facility management or related field. Previous supervisory experience. Previous construction experience.Certified Healthcare Facility Manager. Other applicable/related certifications, licenses, and/or credentials.
