Job Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Set-Up Operator are to set up a variety of printing, finishing, and card manufacturing production machines to ensure proper operation by general machine operators, troubleshoot machine issues, and make minor adjustments. Responsibilities are primarily machine setup, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance. In addition to periodic machine operation, this position will clean and prepare the work area and machine for the next workday or shift at the end of the shift.
