Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints
- Assist with various tasks as needed to support the restaurant team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
