JOB TITLE: Operations Supervisor

LOCATION: Ketchikan and Skagway, Alaska

Reports To: Division Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Alaska Coach Tours is hiring Operations Supervisors in multiple Alaskan divisions that will assist our Division Managers in overseeing motorcoach operations in their respective divisions -- including supervising Driver/Guides and acting as a main point of contact for motorcoach operational related queries. This is a seasonal, full-time position from mid-April through October 2023. This is an opportunity to grow, with potential to become a year-round position with recruiting, hiring, and training duties during the winter. 2 years of experience in Alaska tourism and a Class B CDL is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES (include, but are not limited to):

• Work directly with the Division Manager to ensure division success
• Oversee daily operations for a team of Driver/Guides
• Assist in the coordination of dock operations and office management
• Work directly with Dispatcher to ensure Driver/Guide availability and plan daily logistics
• Maintain communications with Mechanic for fleet status
• Maintain relationships with local vendors and ensure customer service expectations are met
• Ensure Driver accreditations/certifications up to date and valid
• Check Driver/Guide logs for accuracy
• Responsible for operations startup and shutdown at beginning and end of season
• Possible opportunity to work in training and recruitment department during off season

Pay is salaried based upon experience. Season-end bonus and travel reimbursement are included in compensation package. .
