Facilitates the analysis of overruns/underruns, actual spending and revenue, and prepares a variety of statistical reports. Being a Budgeting Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team.     • You will serve as the SUPERVISOR (Functional Product Director) in the Program Executive Office, Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions.
    • You will carry-out the full range of supervisory management functions.
    • You will lead and manage functional activities for the analysis, planning, development, deployment, integration and sustainment of requirements and assigned programs/systems.
    • You will provide effective functional guidance to high priority programs and projects, and for sensitive policy development issues.

    • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
    • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
    • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
    • Generally, current federal employees applying for APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the delivery and execution of modernized logistics systems; providing guidance to high priority programs and projects and sensitive policy development issues.

    The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.

    The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions. Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 2), the total adjusted salary may be capped equivalent to GS 15 at $189,477 (Adjusted Pay).

    Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
