Budget Manager jobs in Louisiana
Budget Manager manages and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of the organization's budget policies and guidelines. Monitors actual performance against estimates and prepares annual and interim budgets. Being a Budget Manager coordinates budget appropriations and responds to exception requests for funds. Monitors and analyzes performance against budgets. Additionally, Budget Manager implements and supports tools and reporting used for planning, forecasting, monitoring, and decision support. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting. Typically reports to a director. The Budget Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Budget Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee all cleaning services and coordinate on-site projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the efforts of all staff who maintain our facilities and training employees in a variety of housekeeping practices. In addition, the Housekeeping Manager will be required to formulate a plan for cleaning in preparation for meetings and conferences, and then monitor the cleaning process to ensure it is executed in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the housekeeping staff.
- Oversee all operations in the housekeeping department, including contracts, pricing, and hiring decisions.
- Hold housekeeping staff accountable for following hotel standards and procedures.
- Assign cleaning jobs and communicate logistical concerns to housekeeping staff.
- Understand and follow hotel and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Clean hotel rooms. keep laundry washed and fold.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
