Budget Director directs and controls an organization's budgeting and financial forecasting activities. Leads the budgeting process for annual, quarterly, and monthly budget development. Being a Budget Director develops budgetary policies and guidelines to meet short and long-term financial goals. Establishes processes to incorporate past financial results into budget development. Additionally, Budget Director monitors and analyzes performance against budgets. Develops and implements tools and reporting used for planning, forecasting, monitoring, and decision support. Presents budget data to senior management and/or board. May require a MBA. Typically reports to top management. The Budget Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Budget Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. A Director of Operations will provide leadership, coaching and direction to 19 restaurants and 3 District Leaders. This position requires travel between restaurants. The Director of Operations will support District Leaders to ensure excellent restaurant operations, help to maximize sales and profits of each restaurant, support training and development within our locations and ensure they are delivering great guest service and meeting and executing all applicable brand standards.
Responsibilities Include:
• Able to perform all duties of restaurant Team Members, Restaurant Managers, and District Leaders
• Ensure all restaurants in their portfolio are meeting Brand operational standards and food safety standards
• Analyze restaurant sales and drive improvement in restaurant operations, execution, sales and profitability
• Provides great guest service and resolves issues
• Deliver training to restaurant managers and District Leaders including marketing windows and LTOs and Brand initiatives
• Ensure that restaurants correctly execute new products and processes in a marketing window
• Drive a clear vision and clearly communicates to the team; staffing/deployment, team service, speed of service
• Engages with Dunkin’ Brands Field Operations team as appropriate
• Coach District Leader's to drive sales, improve profitability and guest satisfaction
Education/Experience:
• Basic computer skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Prior Dunkin’ management preferred
