You will serve as a liaison (Broker) between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods. You will be expected to attract and pair new customers with freight carriers, grow your customers, and genuinely care about being a positive contributor throughout the process. • Skillfully negotiate rates with customers for a variety of transportation services
• Manage the day-to-day operation of all accounts and delegate accordingly

• Acquire new business through aggressive lead generation and outbound inquiry
• Analyzes markets and identifies changes within the freight industry to optimize lane capacity and margins.
• Identifies and generates new sales and market opportunities.
• Responsible for carrier development to broker loads efficiently.
• Maintains records of accessorial shipment charges to ensure reimbursement.
• Works collaboratively with billing team to address issues to ensure proper customer invoicing.
• Communicates effectively with customer service and fleet departments regarding capacity and backhaul coverage.
• Manages and monitors multiple systems to ensure adequate supply of capacity, on-time performance and problem resolution challenges are addressed and communicated timely.
• Assesses customer and carrier performance and provides feedback to management team.
• Works continuously to improve service levels and offers ongoing recommendations for process improvements.

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
