Media Fusion is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support the SRACES contract with NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. The selected candidate will have general responsibility for broadcast engineering in the Marshall Space Flight Center TV studio and off-site locations. Most work is to be done on-site at MSFC in Huntsville, AL. 

    
•    Develop engineering approaches, methods, and strategies relating to audio/video design and operations 
•    Work with architecture teams and customers to develop and implement solution designs
•    Assembly, installation, and maintenance of equipment or facilities
•    Work with operations and support teams to provide direction/support, streamline processes, maximize efficiencies, and enhance user experience
•    Participate in the development and maintenance of standards and product/technology road maps
•    Monitor broadcast signal and transmitter readings, operate broadcast switchers, audio mixers, and recorders, and program the automated playback control system
•    Must maintain in-depth technical and business knowledge of industry trends and tools

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other appropriate area of specialization; OR must have 5 years of directly related experience
•    Proficient in advanced oral and written communications
•    Skilled in advanced problem-solving
•    Experienced in IT environments working with complex audio/video technology and managing or supporting projects
•    Experience working in both in-office and virtual environments with the ability to flex to varying communication styles

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS *

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment. If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position also requires an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
