    The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

    You’ll work alongside the accounting team to analyze and record general ledger transactions. You’ll also improve existing processes and help design new processes for newly launched products. Other responsibilities may include ad-hoc analysis and preparation of financial reports.

    Responsibilities

    As our Accountant, you will:

    • Assist in monthly close processes, including preparing journal entries
    • Perform detailed account reconciliations
    • Prepare complete and easy-to-follow work papers explaining issues, procedures, and conclusion
    • Apply knowledge of accounting theories
    • Contribute to the development of business processes and accounting policies
    • Work on ad hoc projects with the Accounting Manager
    • Assist with preparation of year-end annual audit (Audit experience is a plus)
    • Prepare or assist in the preparation of reports for management and external auditors
    • Assist in developing and preparing analytical and statistical reports to support management decision-making

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
    • 3 years of relevant experience
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Excellent Excel skills

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Preferably prior experience within the financial services industry (lending or financing, mortgage origination or servicing, insurance, or alternative financial services)
    • Public accounting experience
    • Experience with NetSuite (or other ERP system)
    • CPA license (or working towards CPA license) is a plus
