Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Position Summary:
The Nurse Coordinator functions independently to coordinate care of patients. Responsible for planning, education and support of patient and family. Assures that the continuum of care process is complete, including intra-interdepartmental process to include: pre-admit, hospitalization, discharge and follow up in the OP. Maintains program data for analysis and RFPs. Works with Director and Medical Director / team for the development and growth of the program. Provides nursing services as needed. Other responsibilities as assigned.
