Breast Center Manager manages the day-to-day operations of one or more mammography clinics. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic(s). Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Breast Center Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.       • The Medical Assistant II is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant II functions under the license of a provider when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.
    • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
      • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
      • License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility. Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
      • Experience: 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or 6 months of experience and certification required.
