Branch Service Manager oversees daily branch activities. Monitors branch service quality and coaches staff to achieve appropriate levels. Being a Branch Service Manager manages and schedules tellers and customer service staff. Schedules Customer Service Clerks/Reps to ensure adequate coverage. Additionally, Branch Service Manager implements and reviews bank policies and procedures, prepares branch for audits, and keeps branch in compliance with all bank policies and procedures. Handles more complex customer complaints and questions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the Branch Manager. The Branch Service Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.   • Position Summary: Provides personalized banking services to financial institution customers and provides branch leadership by performing the following duties.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual is able to work independently and perform the following duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

    Represents Nano Banc to the customers in a friendly, positive, and professional manner greeting clients and guests as they enter the facility and during their visit.

    • Open branch timely and make sure branch has proper employee coverage.
    • Process branch certifications.
    • Provide coaching to employees and meet regularly with branch staff to discuss their goals and performance.
    • Provides prompt, efficient, confidential, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
    • Learns to recognize client needs for services and presents and refers them appropriately.
    • Processes client transactions (i.e., deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, miscellaneous receipts) and any other client inquiries.
    • Opens new accounts and maintains existing accounts according to the established policies and procedures of the Banc.
    • Adept in new account establishment and required entity documentation review.
    • Performs daily review and call back of new accounts, maintenance reports and notices.
    • Ensures proper documentation requirements are met for all accounts maintained by the Banc.
    • Sell products and services as deemed appropriate for the specific customer.
    • Participate in all Branch functions necessary to contribute to the achievement of the branch earnings and growth objective.
    • Participates in sales meetings and training programs to obtain and refine product knowledge and selling skills.
    • Participates in operational meetings to obtain and refine processing knowledge.
    • Responds to customer requests, problems, and complaints, and/or directs them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.
    • Provides training to staff on all departmental functions and ensures enhancements are discussed and adhered to by the team.
    • Assist staff with any questions that may pertain to Banc processes, procedures, or clients.
    • Completes all mandatory and regulatory training by assigned due date.
    • Adheres to all regulatory requirements and ensures Banc safety and soundness are a top priority.
    • Adhere to all Banc policies and procedures.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Education/Experience:

    Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 years of experience in a managerial role.

    Language Ability:

    Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

    Mathematical Ability:

    Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Proficient in Microsoft office products.

    Certificates and Licenses:

    Notary Public preferred

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee all operational branch functions and manage branch employees.

    Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are fast paced and present high demands. The environment presents a traditional business setting where positivity and professionalism is necessary.

    The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

    Training: Must complete all required mandatory and regulatory training by assigned due date.

    Bank Secrecy Act(BSA): Follow all policies and procedures of Bank Secrecy Act, (BSA) Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). Complete online compliance training as required.
