Job Description
The Business Review Specialist is responsible for developing and/or conducting Business Reviews, and Operational trainings/consultations. This role will also manage and support targeted marketing efforts and assist with training programs.
Develops and executes customer business reviews which includes evaluating customers' back of the house operations such as set-up, quality, food cost and consistency and makes recommendations for improvement
Conduct Customer Training Seminars (i.e., Front of the House Training) as needed and teach ServSafe Certification classes as needed.
Conducts research to determine customer needs and opportunity to grow sales. Maintains a thorough understanding of our value added program partners.
Determines appropriate timeline for follow up with the customer to ensure implementation based on the ideas and concepts accepted by the customer.
Acts as a secondary source to assist other members of the Review Team.
Masters Menu Analysis & Engineering functions. Develops a wide variety menu suggestions for specific customer needs.
Participates in/conduct sales meeting, Regional Meetings and Trainings, food shows, and other related functions. Assists in account development. Works with members of Sales & Marketing Teams to develop tools to gain market share.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
3 - 5 Years
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, IOS, Android Mobile, and OSX. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, prospects, and the general public. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. • Strong verbal and written communications skills for interaction with customers, associates, brokers and suppliers. • Ability to master Menu Analysis. • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. • Proficient at conducting research on the internet. • Strong knowledge of social media engagement and practices. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
