Branch Review Specialist jobs in Rio Rancho, NM

The Department of Student Affairs is searching for a highly motivated person to join our recruitment team. This position will participate in recruiting programs and events, with outreach to external audiences. Daily activities will include interaction with prospective students, public presentations, oral and written communication, problem solving, and use and maintenance of student data bases.

The ideal candidate will be student focused and have an energetic personality and able to prepare and deliver small and large group presentations. Some evening and weekend work at recruitment events as well as extensive travel will be required to fulfill job duties.

Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, Adult Basic Education, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
