Branch Review Specialist conducts branch internal audits to determine whether business controls are sufficient and effectively executed in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Tests established procedures to ensure operational efficiency within branch offices. Being a Branch Review Specialist determines whether branches are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or business control activities in compliance with management instructions, policies, and procedures. Evaluates functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of systems to achieve established objectives. Additionally, Branch Review Specialist recommends corrective actions and improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Branch Review Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Primary Functions: Provide branch assistance to area branches. Assist in conducting training to branch employees with an emphasis placed on providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous member service while recommending financial products and services to meet member needs. Provide support regarding new products, services, technology, and new programs and processes to encourage change. Contribute to the growth of the credit union by achieving individual, branch, and business line goals through leadership activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Two years of increasingly responsible experience in a related field preferred.Experience/Skills: Passion for helping people and the drive to build relationships that assist members meet financial goals. Strong communication and personnel management skills. Ability to effectively ask open-ended questions, problem solve and provide solutions. Must be able to travel and may require use of own vehicle. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Tenure: Senior Branch Services Specialist, Category 12, requires six months tenure in the Senior Financial Service Representative, Category 13 position, with performance that meets or exceeds expectations as stated on Performance Evaluation Plan. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Senior Branch Services Specialist (Category 12)
Salary Pay Range: $48,387 - $73,549 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
