Job Summary:
Support the activities related to the review of non-conforming material, executing disposition of materials, material handling, and reporting of nonconforming material status. Assist the Supplier Quality Engineers, Purchasing, Materials, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments with the material movement and transactions for material in the MRB location.
Essential Functions:
Responsible to ensure processes and procedures are adhered to by all personnel who go into the MRB cage.
Ensure timely disposition of items in MRB, acting as liaison between all departments involved in the issue.
Support activities relating to the review, disposition, and material handling of nonconforming material.
Participate in failure analysis, sort, and rework activities. This also includes material handling activities associated with sorts and purges.
Coordinate and communicate the disposition of materials in MRB.
Make material movement transactions in Oracle or other required systems in a timely fashion.
Maintain MRB in a neat and orderly condition and comply with 6S or other Lean type program.
Maintain the Responsible Person column in the MRB Onhand/Aging Report, so individuals with actions know to act on the line item.
Skills Requirements:
Familiarity with most common PC based applications (Teams, Outlook, Power Point, Word, and Excel).
Ability to work within a regulated environment including ability to interface with auditors if asked questions related to their job function.
Experience using problem solving tools to drive a root cause and corrective action.
Be able to perform a sort or rework of rejected material based off the rejection description.
Background in product structure, BOMs and ERP systems.
Must be a certified IPC-A-610 Specialist.
Be able to operate a forklift.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or technical equivalent discipline.
Experience in engaging with or supporting MRB activities.
Minimum 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working cross functionally to obtain resolution of issues related to nonconforming material. Ability to work with the Agile Configuration Management System, MES, and Oracle systems.
