Branch Manager - Insurance manages the daily activities of the branch office, with duties such as insurance claim processing (home, auto, life, mortgage, etc.), marketing, auditing, loss prevention, and underwriting. Hires, trains, and monitors the performance of new insurance agents. Being a Branch Manager - Insurance provides updates to the regional manager regarding operating results, insurance trends, and competitor methods. May provide guidance on more complex issues. Additionally, Branch Manager - Insurance develops new business through selling and marketing activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the regional manager. The Branch Manager - Insurance typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Primary ResponsibilityThe Commercial Insurance Account Manager will be primarily responsible for servicing and handling of commercial accounts.Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Provide technical support for the producer in maintaining existing commercial accounts in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined in the agency procedures.
- Responsible for coordinating the renewal process, account development and retention of existing customers.
- Provide quotes for new and existing business, update applications, assist with marketing process, prepare proposals/summaries, and handle insured and underwriting questions.
- Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items.
- Establish and build relationships with customers and carriers.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of client and policy information in the agency management system.
Additional Functions & Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain reports that may be required by management.
- Provide backup and support for other team members.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent and/or college degree
- Hold a valid Texas General Lines Agent license
- Three years of commercial lines insurance experience
Preferred QualificationsA minimum of one of the following designations is preferred:- CIC, ARM, AAI, CPCU, AU, ACSR, or CISR Knowledge
