We are looking to add a Bookkeeping Specialist position to our growing team. Murken Thompson is a progressive local firm with great potential for growth. Tax season will require longer hours, however, working at Murken Thompson you will enjoy a 4-day (32 hour) workweek for 6 months of the year.
The right candidate for this position will have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and will have excellent PC Skills. Quickbooks and PcMars experience is a plus. Job duties will include working with clients, accounting statements, reconciliation, and W-2/1099 preparation, in addition to other accounting work. We are looking for an outgoing candidate who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is self-motivated, and has the ability to multi-task effectively.
