Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate has experience with Quickbooks and general ledger accounting.

Responsibilities:

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries

- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions

- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Collaborate with the accounting team to support month-end and year-end close processes

- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation

Skills:

- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles

- Knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation

- Familiarity with GAAP guidelines and regulations

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
