Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in . As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accounting software or ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Process employee payroll, including deductions and taxes.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.
• Perform detailed cash flow and financial planning analyses with precision and expertise.
• Categorize employee and credit card expenses as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with QuickBooks Online
• 1 year experience in financial statements, bookkeeping, and accounting software
• Strong understanding of finance and journal entries
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is a plus
• Experience in the transportation industry is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
