Bookkeeper, Sr. maintains and records a complete and systematic set of business transactions. Balances ledgers, reconciles accounts, and prepares reports to show receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Being a Bookkeeper, Sr. follows bookkeeping procedures established by the organization. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Bookkeeper, Sr. typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bookkeeper, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Trial Group North, a Duluth, Minnesota law firm, is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join the firm. The right candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, with law firm experience (legal billing) being a plus, but not a requirement. Responsibilities will include full charge bookkeeping, to include but not limited to a/r, a/p, payroll and benefits admin, legal billing, and prep of financial reports, as well as some office management. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills, but should range between 70k and 90k plus full benefits. Trial Group North promotes a flexible work environment and schedules with the possibility of some remote work if desired.
