At Cast Iron Trading Co We are purveyors of Craft Food and Beverage. We are looking for an experienced Expo/Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail. IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS!!!! The successful candidate will be responsible for expo-ing all incoming orders and finishing details on all food items according to customer orders, as well as ensuring that all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Expo lead must also be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plate food and finish to standards.
• Clean and maintain the expo station and kitchen area.
• Prepare ingredients stations
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Work with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation.

Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to go up and down stairs. Approximately 15-20 times a day.
• our storage is upstairs and downstairs.
• Willingness to comfortably work in a very small kitchen environment with others.
• Strong desire to work in the commercial kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn all kitchen positions.
• 5 years in a lead kitchen position is required.
• Ability to hone in on all the details.
• Humble spirit and willingness to serve and be a part of a team.
• High energy, strong work ethic.
• Good attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work in potentially very stressful and busy environment.
• Ability to EXCELL under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
