    Are you a writer with a passion for helping others make informed financial decisions?  Join a team of writers who are developing learning experiences and content to help our clients make informed financial decisions whether they’re new to trading or looking for more advanced investing strategies like margin and options.

    The Director, Educational Content, is critical to the establishment of our educational offering for both new and advanced traders.  You’ll explore the questions, concerns, and objectives of potential investors and existing clients to help define the educational strategy. By using your content, education, and business experience, you’ll simplify complex ideas and deliver compelling and easy to understand articles, video scripts, and other content to help ensure our clients are making smart investment decisions and to attract prospective new investors and traders to Fidelity.
     

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Deep experience in online writing and/or editing
    • Strong familiarity with multiple content formats, such as long-form articles, videos, short-form social posts, infographics, newsletters, and events
    • Proven understanding of instructional design, curriculum development processes, strategies, delivery, and evaluation methods
    • Experience in the financial services industry preferred, including comfort and familiarity with trading topics such as margin and options
    • Ability to perform project scoping, needs analysis and supporting design scope documents
    • Distilling sophisticated concepts to find ways to make them more accessible
    • Proficient in crafting content that follows brand standards, optimized for search, shareable on social media, data-driven and ready for mobile
    • Creating and maintaining strong business relationships, building trust, and advocating for collaboration
    • Interpreting data, generating insights, and recommending optimizations/new strategies
    • Curious about industry trends and what competitors are doing to provide well-informed recommendations

    • Understanding customer needs and can identify barriers/knowledge gaps along with learning solutions to close the gap.
    • Making progress in environments where there are many guardrails (such as legal, compliance, and/or brand).

    Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
