As we are expanding, we are seeking hairstylists to better serve our customers to customize the wigs to get a personalized hairstyle.
Responsibilities:
- Promote profit and growth of the organization through staff incentives, training, and more.
- Oversees master schedule, and schedule changes to maintain staffing needs
- Interview and hire for any open positions in the facility.
- Scheduling appointments, ringing up clients, advising clients on products, upselling services, and products.
- Address guest challenges and problems
- Maintain overall ambiance of salon and spa; visual standards, dress code, and DOL/OSHA standards followed.
- Perform opening/closing routines
- Act as the main character of contact for employee issues
- Manage facility issues effectively as they arise
- Maintain Social Media strategy schedule
- Increase retail and service revenue for the entire facility
- Oversee training for all staff positions
- Lead by example, filling in supporting tasks as necessary (e.g. administrative paperwork, etc).
- Report any incident or customer feedback to the corporate.
- Enforce rules and regulations established by the corporate.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Possess previous successful management experience (2 years) in a fast-paced, challenging work environment, with an excellent track record of customer complaint resolution.
- Demonstrates confidence, organization, professionalism, and creative problem-solving
- Adept multitasker; ability to goal-set to accomplish tasks on time
- Proven reputation for maintaining employee information confidentiality
- Effective verbal communicator
- Basic computer and phone operating skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Passion for excellent customer service.
- Previous experience working in a luxury service environment (e.g. department store)
- Interest in the beauty industry
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work is indoors, generally in a low-level noise environment, with a high amount of face-to-face contact.
Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- Management: 5 years (Required)
- Active Cosmetology License
