Bond Sales Manager manages and leads a group of bond sales officers. Develops marketing and sales initiatives to increase profitability. Being a Bond Sales Manager oversees the buying and selling of government or corporate bonds and securities. Advises clients on investment options; monitors market conditions to maximize profits for customers and the institution. Additionally, Bond Sales Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. The Bond Sales Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Bond Sales Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. iTA is looking for a Full-Time Sales Account Manager to join our team in Lafayette, LA.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ sales experience with:
- leasing and/or rental environment, or some sales experience in the trucking industry: International; Navistar; Mack; Volvo; Peterbilt; Kenworth; Freightliner; Ford Truck; CAT; Cummins; Detroit Diesel.
- Industry experience with: transportation; farming; trucking; heavy equipment; construction.
- Other industry experience may be given consideration if solid sale experience can be demonstrated.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated sales ability;
- High energy and self-motivated;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to market, including cold calling on prospective and existing customers in South Louisiana.
- Experience is a plus, but will train the right individual.
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required.
- Base Commission salary structure; car allowance; excellent benefits.
