The Role

The Dealer Auditor will be responsible for conducting dealership audits, both on-site and remotely, to identify weaknesses, enhance regulatory compliance and further develop the CMS. The auditor will be responsible to work with department heads to determine whether areas of noncompliance are due to a lack of internal controls, a lack of comprehension or understanding by personnel, inadequacy of internal controls, and/or inadequacy of training.

This role will require at least 80% travel within Texas state.

What will you be doing at Tricolor?

• Performs audits of dealership operations
• Documents and evaluates the design and effectiveness of key controls
• Reports audit findings and corrects non-compliance items as needed
• Maintains effective working relationships with executive and operating management
• Effectively plans audit scope, including designing specific audit steps, to focus on high-risk areas
• Makes value added recommendations to management to help them achieve their organizational objectives
• Effectively manages and completes all assignments and projects in a timely manner

This is the right opportunity for you, if you have…

• Three-year minimum internal audit or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with dealerships.
• Knowledge of dealership operations
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and work well with management
• Willing to travel up to 80%
• Bilingual English / Spanish, preferred
