Blackjack Dealer deals blackjack, accepts bets, pays winners, and collects from non-winners. Handles player transactions, notifies pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Being a Blackjack Dealer may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Blackjack Dealer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. FUNCTION
Responsible for the control of the poker game at his/her table and for providing quality customer service, guest satisfaction and increased player rated play. Dealers are also responsible for assisting with tournaments and promotions.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures the safety and security of employees, patrons and Company assets.
Deals and controls poker game
Assists patrons with seating and chip distribution.
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the poker game and card room.
Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Public relations and customer service skills.
Maintains interpersonal working relationships among all personnel and public.
Oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the performance of the poker room.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED equivalent.
Valid gaming license.
Knowledge and experience dealing poker card games
