Working from our Tampa Headquarters office (Oldsmar area), this person will provide prompt technical support on Suzuki's Technical Service Hotlineto Suzuki Marine technicians and Suzuki personnel via telephone.
Based on the calls, create detailed Hotline reports in Siebel, provide approved product repair recommendations, follow-up on recommendations, and close all hotline reports within 10 days of opening.
Shipping, tracking, and reporting on the effectiveness of countermeasure parts, the position is also responsible for testing and support of SDS software and diagnostic equipment, occasional travel with supplier engineers, assist Suzuki legal department on special cases, assist Customer Relations Department with special technical product questions.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience as a technician at a dealership. Suzuki technical knowledge is preferable.
Minimum 3 years service management experience at the dealer level
High school diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
Post-secondary education with emphasis on Marine Technology and Business Management
Major manufacturer's formal training / certification
