Biostatistician conducts statistical studies to generate data and insights used to innovate, plan and support improved healthcare outcomes and processes. Prepares analysis plans to ensure the best statistical methods are developed and utilized. Being a Biostatistician writes specifications for files, consistency checks, tables, and calculations used to collect and analyzes data from a variety of sources. Interprets analyses and prepares exhibits for reports and presentations. Additionally, Biostatistician interfaces with non technical users to assist with data interpretation and understanding of results. Proficient with statistical computer applications like SAS and R. Typically requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Biostatistician occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • The Sr. Biostatistician position will support the Clinical Research division of Panoramic Health in its mission to develop cutting-edge research for a clinically complicated population of chronic kidney and end stage renal disease patients. Successful candidates will leverage their expertise in biostatics, informatics, and clinical analytics to support the Research division in developing data and analyses in support of multiple clinical research protocols.   Responsibilities include: Support effective clinical research through the development of enriched data, leveraging analytical experience to guide data selection, data visualization, and additional analysis as appropriate. Work with internal and external partners to develop data and requirements in support of high quality clinical research. Gather information for project-related research; analyze that information; and produce reports and analyses as appropriate. Work with engineering team on development of new data, quality control of reports Identify appropriate statistical modeling technique for a given analysis; implement analysis through statistical programming. Consult with stakeholders and leadership team on appropriate design of data in support of study evaluation and analysis. Develop oral and written summaries of findings for internal and external audiences, including for conference presentations and peer reviewed journals. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on project design, progress, outcomes, and any related constraints. Prioritize, plan, and track project progress. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.   Qualifications: Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer programming, analytics, or clinical related discipline. Minimum of 4 years in analytics intensive role or compensatory higher educational attainment. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in healthcare, computer science, finance, statistics, or analytics Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau. Experience with clinical trial design or evaluation. Certifications to support technical skills. Preferred 5-7 years’ experience in analytics intensive role.
