Biomedical Photographer performs wide variety of photographic functions in a medical setting. Takes photographs and prepares images, slides, or prints of subjects used for archives, educational materials, legal proceedings, and scientific literature. Being a Biomedical Photographer photographs patients, operating room procedures, autopsy and laboratory specimens and other medical subjects. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Biomedical Photographer may require a technical certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Biomedical Photographer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     Kiarah Portraits captures smiling faces from preschools, daycares, and playschools, all the way to kindergarten. Our photographers provide schools and families with high-quality images and a memorable Picture Day experience from start to finish. We are hiring immediately and seeking energetic, creative, and friendly seasonal Photographers for school picture days. If you’re interested in an exciting career in photography, enjoy working with kids and love being in a new setting every day, we want to work with you!

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Prior to the Picture Day, follow our four-step protocol to gather necessary information from the photo centers.

    Travel to locations within a given territory (up to 50 miles radius of the city center)

    Set up the equipment and the photo area props.

    Take beautiful memorable pictures of children inside early childhood education centers/schools

    Ensure all children are photographed, creating a comfortable setting for the infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, capturing the child’s natural expressions

    You must have a DSLR, mirrorless or similar camera, a drivable vehicle, and related accessories to capture the photos.

    You must have a valid shipping address for us to ship the backdrops and other materials that you will use for the photoshoot.

    After the photoshoot, you must have internet and IT infrastructure to upload the captured raw photos to a secure server provided by us. That’s it and you are golden!

    Required qualifications

    Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

    Lift up to 50 lbs

    Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    Able to work Monday through Friday between 7 am and 3 pm

    Skills:

    Strong computer skills including email and Microsoft Office products

    Strong Customer service skills

    Attention to detail

    Love working with children

    Expected outcomes:

    After the initial onboarding and training, you will be expected to perform the photoshoots of our client schools that will be conveyed to you. In this endeavor, you will be expected to follow the guidelines within the roles and responsibilities section of this posting.

    Compensation:

    $45 per hour of the shoot time at the client’s location.
