Seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician/Intern with an interest in coastal marine and civil site development and client focused who produces great solutions. This individual will participate with a team in all aspects from project conceptual and final designs providing support during construction.
The job responsibilities for the position will include:
-Serving as intern engineer, technician or designer on a variety of project types from residential to commercial including large to small size
-Ability to communicate to clients and present technical solutions
-Coordinate scope, schedule and budget with other team members
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD
-Development of technical proposals
-Reviewing permitting agency/engineering standards and regulations necessary to develop civil designs and permitting applications.
-Participating in site field investigations and construction related activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from technical data -
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and simulations
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
-Experience using AutoCAD
-Valid US Driver’s License required, must pass motor vehicle records review
-Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
--Experience working on construction/site/civil design projects preferrable.
