Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Caller to join our flooring sales team. As a Cold Caller, you will be responsible for initiating outbound calls to prospective customers with the aim of generating leads, setting appointments, or making sales. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with interest in home improvement sales and build a book of business to support goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers using a provided list or database.
• Introduce products/services to prospects, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Identify and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.
• Engage in active listening to understand customer needs and concerns.
• Address objections and rejections tactfully, striving to overcome resistance.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and update customer information in the database.
• Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales funnel.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversion rates.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position the company's products/services.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or sales is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone demeanor.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation.
• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or marketing is a plus.
