Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and motivated part time Sales Assistant to join our team. The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our cleaning services to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Schedule:

• Start time: 9:30 am
• End time: 4:30 pm
• Lunch break: 1 hour
• Monday-Friday (6 hours)

Hourly-$18.40 Upon completion of the 90-day probation period, the wage will increase to $21.50.

Start Date: May 6, 2024

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for potential clients, providing information about our cleaning services and addressing any inquiries.
• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Utilize various lead generation techniques such as cold calling, email marketing, social media outreach, and networking to engage with potential clients.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our cleaning services, pricing, and promotional offers.
• Follow up with leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.
• Provide support in preparing sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
• Research and identify potential leads through market analysis and targeted prospecting.
• Closed 10-15 contracts a month
• Conduct site visits to assess the cleaning needs of potential clients and provide estimates for services.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to ensure the company’s competitiveness in the market.
• Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the company’s services and build brand awareness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of cleaning industry trends, products, and services preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for site visits and attending networking events.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet client needs and attend networking events.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
