Bindery Technician performs various machine and manual operations to complete print binding and finishing processes. Completes tasks including measuring, cutting, collating, inserting, folding, stapling, or gluing to produce finished bound products. Being a Bindery Technician sets up, operates, tends, and maintains bindery equipment. Inspects equipment for malfunctions, troubleshoots and resolves problems. Additionally, Bindery Technician follows all required quality and safety procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bindery Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. BRD Printing is now hiring bindery operators to join our growing company. We are rapidly expanding and have multiple openings. Full time, possible Saturday overtime as needed.
Immediate opening for 2nd or 3rd shift bindery equipment operators. Primary duties to run Polar paper cutters, Muller-Martini Minuteman saddlebinder & Stahl folders. Also capability of running other general bindery equipment.
Minimum of 3 years experience operating and maintaining commercial bindery equipment a MUST.
