Bindery Technician jobs in Goose Creek, SC
Bindery Technician performs various machine and manual operations to complete print binding and finishing processes. Completes tasks including measuring, cutting, collating, inserting, folding, stapling, or gluing to produce finished bound products. Being a Bindery Technician sets up, operates, tends, and maintains bindery equipment. Inspects equipment for malfunctions, troubleshoots and resolves problems. Additionally, Bindery Technician follows all required quality and safety procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bindery Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites. From interpreting blueprints to installing voice, data, networking, and security equipment, our low voltage teams are prepared to get the job done efficiently and correctly. Prior experience in the low voltage field is preferred.
!!Candidates should be well versed in cable terminations.
Experience with fiber optic cabling is a plus, and experience operating a fusion splicer will receive priority consideration!!
Low Voltage Technician Responsibilities:
· Pull, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT5E and CAT6 cabling, experience with fiber optic cabling is a plus
· Punch down voice and data jacks
· Work from ladders and various types of lifts
· Maintain cabling, equipment, and devices in IDF/MDF closets and server rooms
· Operate in accordance with safety measures and protocols
Low Voltage Technician Requirements:
· 1 years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience
· Knowledge of appropriate color codes for low voltage cabling
· Ability to safely complete physical labor tasks
